Barbell Pocket Fitness
Terms of Use
- Last Updated
Barbell Pocket Fitness (“Barbell Pocket,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a strength-training app for iOS. Beta versions may be distributed through Apple TestFlight, and released versions may be distributed through Apple's App Store. These Terms of Use cover the Barbell Pocket service: your account, eligibility, subscriptions, the fitness and training information the app shows you, and how the service may be used.
Apple's Standard EULA and These Terms
Versions of Barbell Pocket made available through the App Store are licensed, not sold, and are governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). Beta versions distributed through TestFlight are also subject to Apple's applicable TestFlight terms.
Read the Licensed Application End User License Agreement on apple.com
These Terms add terms specific to the Barbell Pocket service. They do not replace the Standard EULA and are not a custom App Store license agreement. The Standard EULA continues to govern the license to App Store versions of the app, including its provisions on warranties, liability, and governing law. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA about the license to the app, the Standard EULA controls.
Eligibility
Barbell Pocket is not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a Barbell Pocket account. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using a service like Barbell Pocket on your own, that higher age applies.
If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, use Barbell Pocket only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle information from children.
Your Account
A Barbell Pocket account is created with an email address and a password. When you use your account:
- provide accurate account information, including an email address you can access;
- keep your password confidential and your account credentials secure; and
- do not access or use another person's account without their permission.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at info@barbellpocket.com.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from within the app: open Settings and choose Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
When you delete your account, we delete your Barbell Pocket account and its associated data on servers under our control, the app clears that account's data from your device and signs you out, and we send a request to RevenueCat to delete the customer record associated with your account. RevenueCat may complete that request some time after your account is deleted. The Privacy Policy explains in detail what is deleted and when.
Deleting your Barbell Pocket account does not cancel an Apple App Store subscription. Subscriptions are managed separately through Apple, as described below.
Subscriptions
Barbell Pocket may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Before you purchase, the subscription's name, what it includes, its billing period, and its price are presented to you. Where a free trial is offered, its length and the price that applies afterward are shown before you start it.
- Apple handles billing and payment processing.
- Auto-renewable subscriptions continue until you cancel them, in accordance with Apple's subscription terms.
- You manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID's subscription settings, not through Barbell Pocket.
- Deleting your Barbell Pocket account does not cancel an Apple subscription. You can cancel before or after deleting your account.
- Refund eligibility and processing are governed by Apple's applicable policies, and refund requests are made to Apple.
If you reinstall the app or sign in on another device, you can use Restore Purchases in the app to restore an active subscription.

Barbell Pocket works from the information you enter. It does not read data from Apple Health, a watch, or other sensors.
Your Content
You keep your rights in the workout notes, custom exercises, templates, training records, body measurements, and other information you enter into Barbell Pocket. We do not claim ownership of it.
You permit us to process that information only as reasonably necessary to provide, synchronize, display, maintain, and support Barbell Pocket for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Barbell Pocket does not currently publish or display your training information to other users unless you choose to use a feature that expressly does so.
Acceptable Use
When using Barbell Pocket, do not:
- use it for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization;

The Standard EULA separately addresses copying, redistributing, and reverse engineering the app.
Intellectual Property
The Barbell Pocket software, name, logo, visual design, graphics, and other original materials we provide are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your license to the app is governed by the Standard EULA. These Terms do not give us ownership of your training information.
Service Availability and Changes
Barbell Pocket may receive maintenance, updates, and feature changes, and features or services may change or be discontinued. We cannot guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors. Availability can also depend on your device, your network connection, Apple's services, and the service providers needed to operate Barbell Pocket.
Third-Party Services
Barbell Pocket relies on third-party services, including Apple for App Store distribution and purchases and the service providers identified in the Privacy Policy. Your use of Apple's services is subject to Apple's own terms.
Privacy
How Barbell Pocket collects, uses and deletes information is described in the Privacy Policy. How it handles consumer health data is described in the Consumer Health Data Notice.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when Barbell Pocket changes or when the law requires. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. If a change is material, we will provide any notice required by applicable law.
